Who will be European Journalist of the Year 2026?

PRIX EUROPA seeks to honour a European journalist who has demonstrated exceptional creativity, courage and impact. We are in search of a journalistic innovator committed to truth amidst global information and disinformation, aligning with our PRIX EUROPA 2026 motto: public service media - defending democracy together.

The ideal candidate is immune to political propaganda and populism, dedicated to transparency and capable of uncovering and reporting the truth. Proposals from all journalism genres and formats are welcome.
