Nothing is Over is a poetic audio meditation on death and decomposition, addressed directly to the listener in second person. The piece follows a human body from its final breath through the process of decay – as insects, bacteria and fungi transform it into a source of new life.
Rather than treating decomposition as an ending, the piece reframes it as a quiet, almost tender continuation: the body becomes "a place," "a city no one has planned," and eventually a garden.
Blending scientific observation with lyrical, intimate narration, the work challenges the listener's instinctive fear of death and putrefaction, inviting them instead to see it as transformation rather than loss.
