206 media organisations across Europe have responded to our call, submitting a total of 600 audio, digital media, and video productions to the 40th edition of PRIX EUROPA.
After a thorough pre-selection process, 154 outstanding productions from 29 countries have been selected to compete in October for the coveted PRIX EUROPA Awards, recognising the Best European Productions of the year 2026.

To mark the 40th edition of the PRIX EUROPA, this year’s winners will be celebrated on Friday, 16 October 2026 in the historic Haus des Rundfunks at Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb). Located directly opposite the Berlin Radio Tower, the venue stands at the heart of a century-long tradition of public service broadcasting. This year, the iconic tower is itself celebrating its 100th anniversary, making the occasion all the more fitting.
