Join Europe's Media Community at the 40th edition of PRIX EUROPA!

Come to Berlin from 11–16 October 2026 for a week of outstanding media, inspiring discussions, valuable networking and to celebrate with hundreds of media professionals. 

Recognising Europe's most distinguished media, PRIX EUROPA awards 14 prestigious trophies to the BEST audio, digital media, and video productions of 2026 while also honouring remarkable journalism with the European Journalist of the Year 2026 award.

At the heart of PRIX EUROPA is its unique and transparent system of open Jury Groups. Together, each Jury Group watches/listens to every entry in its category, engages in lively public discussions, and evaluates the productions.
PRIX EUROPA invites media professionals from across Europe to become Jury Group Members and actively shape the recognition of excellent European media.
If you are unable to stay for the entire competition week, you can register as Observer. This allows you to attend the presentations and public jury discussions that interest you most—just without voting rights. 
Personal Registration to PRIX EUROPA is free of charge.

PRIX EUROPA begins on Sunday, 11 October 2026. Accreditation opens at 16:00 at Haus des Rundfunks (rbb), Masurenallee 8–14, 14057 Berlin, followed by a welcome Get-Together in the evening, where all participants are invited to meet and connect.

On Friday morning, 16 October 2026, PRIX EUROPA 2026 delegates are welcome to attend the PRIX EUROPA Brunch and the PRIX EUROPA 2026 Awards Ceremony in the evening.
