‘Blue Whale’ is a painful story of Lea, a teenage girl who was manipulated by an internet challenge, appealing to young people to start playing a dreadful game which results into suicide. Lea has recently lost her mother; her loving and caring father is losing control over her adolescent behaviour and in school, she faces bullying by her classmates. She therefore becomes withdrawn, stops communicating with her closest ones and ultimately loses ability to resist the pressure of current reality. The author and director of the play has drawn inspiration from the real stories of people of her generation.
