Two people who seem to not be able to understand one another, even though they speak the same language. What is the conversation about? Is it really just about a documentary on emperor penguins or is it about something more?

This short radio play captures a simple telephone call, but in it we can hear a lot more. Something we all might have experienced. A connection between two people who love each other but cannot quite reach one another. The way they are trying to connect seems to only push the other person further away. Can they find a common ground? What is hidden behind their words? What is it that they are really trying to say?
